Columbus, OH – Grote Company, the world’s leading manufacturer of precision slicing and application equipment for food processing, today announced plans to move its newly acquired Pizzamatic production facility to Gahanna. The company will invest $850,000 to expand its current headquarters at 1160 Gahanna Parkway and will add 13 new jobs.

“We acquired Pizzamatic to align with our growth strategy in this important market segment and we are proud to build upon our company’s long history in the Columbus Region,” said Bob Grote, CEO, Grote Company.

The 13 new jobs will be added to the manufacturer’s existing 100-person workforce. Positions include machinists, welders, assemblers, planner/buyers and engineers. Hiring will begin Nov. 1, 2015.

“Grote Company has been a valued partner within our community for more than 30 years,” said Mayor Becky Stinchomb, City of Gahanna. “We look forward to supporting the company’s expansion in Gahanna.”

Grote Company acquired Chicago-based Pizzamatic Corporation in July 2015.
