Coyote Logistics to Invest in Larger Columbus Region Facility

February 23, 2015

Columbus, OH – Coyote Logistics, LLC, has announced it will invest $480,000 to expand into a larger Columbus Region facility.

“The Columbus Region has established itself not only as a strategic logistics hub, but also a prime spot for innovative technology-focused businesses,” said Jodi Navta, vice president of marketing and communications, Coyote Logistics. “The Columbus Region’s talent pool was also a major consideration in our location decision.”

Coyote’s latest expansion in the Columbus Region will add 50 new jobs – all office positions – to its existing workforce of 34. Hiring is expected to begin in the spring of 2015.

The company’s new, larger facility will be located at 250 S. High Street, in the heart of the city’s downtown. Coyote’s decision to expand in that area, which is undergoing revitalization, is the latest in a lengthening list of companies choosing to put down roots downtown. This announcement also comes after a recent report from Capital Crossroads & Discovery Special Improvement Districts showing a 13.2 percent vacancy rate for offices downtown—the lowest it’s been since tracking began 10 years ago for downtown vacancy rates.

“It’s a pleasure to welcome yet another company to downtown Columbus, which has proven itself as a thriving location for business expansion,” said Mayor Michael B. Coleman. “We are looking forward to the boost Coyote’s growth will bring to the city’s center.”
